Nothing like it anywhere in any form. However, the iron that you get from your cast iron cooking pots and pans is inorganic iron that your body cannot use. Still, I would use cast iron frying pans before anything else. Though now that I am raw I don't use them any more and I get all the iron I need from the fruits and veggies that I eat. I don't know about the newer cast iron pots and what they use to seal them with. I think I would be a little wary of those. -- Peace, love and light, Don Quai " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man. Guest guest
It's inorganic so won't really do the body any good.Gayla <goatclearing@...> wrote: Your body can not use the iron from cast iron pots? The same with the aluminum. Your body doesn't use it and can't. It just gets stored in the brain and fatty tissues and organs leading to all sorts of metabolic and physical problems. Same with any inorganic mineral or metal. Just because your body absorbs it does not mean it is good for you. Your body will absorb Strontium 90 too and it most definitely is not good for you. No, your body cannot use inorganic minerals or metals. They are not utilized by the human organism nor by any animals. All minerals need to be organic which means they come from plant life. They must be converted by the plants first in order for your body to utilize them for health and well being. As humans, there is only one way that we can fully access minerals on a cellular level and that is through the consumption of offerings from the plant kingdom. We do not possess the ability to perform photosynthesis, therefore we must rely on the plant kingdom to prepare (chemically assemble) our foods (ingredients). Plants, through the process of photosynthesis attach enzymes to inorganic minerals found in soil or water and can make them living or organic minerals. In other words, the attached enzymes act as a “passport” to assist the transfer of the minerals into the cells of the human body and aid in the cells utilization of the delivered minerals. The key here is that the enzyme must be active and attached to the mineral in order for the body to utilize it. I hope this helps clear this up some. Too much inorganic minerals stored up in your body is not a good thing to have. This is why chelation therapy exists to help remove these stored up inorganic metals and minerals. -- Peace, love and light, Don Quai " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man.
