Guest guest
Geoff, yes I think we can agree on met, even thru the net. We also talked on the phone when we were in California last summer on vacation. So I guess we almost met face to face. You are right when you use the word reluctant. I feel the same way, however, I had come to the point with the constant pain and inability to do anything that I did not have a lot of desire to go on like I was. Like I say, I will never go over 5 mg. and even a 2 mg. it is a short term thing, not the years that I was on it before. Thanks for the reply and also thanks for the address to 's picture. Great site. SKippy Re: Mark's Hands > > > > Years ago, when I was on the Metho routine I was also on Massive doses > of > > Prednisone. (80mg) daily. I said I would never take it again. Guest guest
I read the entry about CS being snake oil 100 years ago and still is. I would suggest for everyone to please inform yourself by reading and learning as much as you can about CS and better still, try it as well. As with main stream medication, one has to be careful what one ingests. Argyria (or turning blue as a result of ingesting silver proteins or wrongly made CS) is a fact but we are talking about CS, not silver proteins. www.silvermedicine.com is a very good place to start to learn more about it's safety, how to make it properly and its uses. Read and learn and then read and learn some more . As there is no money in CS for the pharmaceutical industry, stories about argyria are used to frighten people away. I would not hesitate for one split second to up my dose of daily CS if SARS arrives on the doorstep. Just a thought from a lurker Hanneke

Any comments on when or how long this may take? Hi again Jasmine. I hope you are feeling better. Stitches can vary. Behind my ear last time they used the internal dissolving kind (incision appears flat) & it was really a non-issue - I don't know how long it took but I never noticed them & it just healed up in the course of time (tho, FYI, my behind-the-ear incisions always seem to sort of "shed" for about 6 months - not very attractive, but it sort of flakes/scales for awhile). The in-the-ear stitches took longer, but I'm not sure if you mean the ones deep inside or if you have stitches in the inside of your outer ear. I had visible stitches in the inside of my outer ear that took 6 - 8 weeks to finally go & my Dr. ended up trimming & eventually removing the last one. Guest guest
Thank you for the subscription info to cicircle. I'll subscribe straight away. Great to hear just how well Christian is doing and how chatty and sociable he is. When we were still distressed about whether Dominic would ever be able to hear and talk i'd have never imagined i might one day be close to asking him to just keep quiet for a second. He's nearly 4 and i still just love to hear him talking (and he loves to hear himself talking too!). We have the hospital appointment for next Thursday and we'll ask again for him to be evaluated for a CI. He was postponed twice before because he was doing very well with hearing aids - but has since lost more hearing. Can Christian hear on the phone? I know he's too young for real coversations but is he close to understanding familiar voices? Thanks once again, Cristina
Guest guest
Hi Cristina, Yes, Christian can hear on the phone. As you said, no real conversations but he can understand simple sentences (what are you doing, how are you, where is ..., with whom did you play at preschool today ..) with ease. The voices do not have to be familiar. I missed a lot of posts over the summer so I never read about your time with your parents. Did they speak Romanian with Dominic? Guest guest
Thanks Suzi- Those are encouraging words. As long as I use organic juice, does it matter if it is fruit juice or a mixture of fruit and vegetable? Definitely the grains were not sprouted. I have plenty of beans and grains. What are the best from which to make sprouts? Thanks so much. Message: 3 Date: Mon, 3 Jan 2005 13:50:49 -0800 (PST) From: Suzanne <suziesgoats@...> Subject: Re: Transition Pt. 2 Ok , Where to start.. Sylvia has a fast pace life and she has done the total cleanse.. I've done it and I work full time in an office. It can be done...but that is later... Let's start, first, were your grains sprouted? makes a difference... you want to release the enzyme inhibitors for the grains to be of any good to you. You can always do water fasts or juice fasts for a couple days... You can eat more raw You can do detox baths, start with baby steps.. Once you start cleansing little by little it will get easier. Start with one day juice fasts and work your way up each week or two.. or so.. Do you have any herbs? I'm sure there are many on this list that can help you out with some herbs if money is a problem... We have done this for others. We also trade on Sundays... Heck, we trade herbs for soaps, handmake dolls, jams, etc. And if you have nothing to trade right now we only ask that when the time comes you can help another that you do. That is what we're all here for... to help each other - whether by listening, giving advice, or whatever. I;m sure Don will have more to say but this is a place to start... check the files under cleanses and fasts for the 3 day juice fast or mucousless diet..... , you can do anything you put your mind to if you want it bad enough... sometimes we're just not at the point of doing a total cleanse yet.. so do a little one... we're all at different points in our road to health... each step takes us closer.....and we're all here for you. Apples can be mixed with both fruits and vegetables, however. Yes, you should always soak your grains, seeds and nuts for a minimum of 8 hours before consuming. You can also sprout them for a day or two if you prefer which will make them better for your body and less for the squirrels and chipmunks body. Most grains sprout well, spelt, wheat, oats, rye, barley, etc. Mung beans, alfalfa seeds, radish seeds, onion seeds, garlic seeds, lettuce seeds, broccoli seeds, etc. Just don't use the seeds you buy for planting as they have been sprayed with an antifungal. Lentils sprout really well too.
