Hi all

Sorry I stuffed that up it was supposed to say 1 litre juicer jugs. I make it in the juicer.

Green Apple Juice

NB. I make a lot of juice when I juice about 2-3 1litre juicer jugs full. This one made about 2 1/2 litres.

10-12 Green Apples

1 Bunch Spinach

1 Head Lettuce (I used fancy red lettuce)

4 Red Papaya

4 Pears (could use more I only had 4 left)

Juice away.

You could try: mango OR peaches OR nectarines OR cantaloupe OR honeydew melon OR kiwi.

Hi Tracey

Thanks for your response. I was thinking of adding more pears also. Actually, there is not a lot available here in Montana in the Winter, especially organic, and I eat nearly 100% organic There is a small organic grocery store I go to and they have bananas, apples, oranges, grapefruit, lemons, and pears for fruit right now. Really they rarely have papayas any time of year, so I am jealous :-). I think I will try it with extra pears though, and I'll let you know how it turns out. I'm doing the total body cleanse right now, and decided it's a good time to go totally raw, so I'm trying out lots of recipes. I have the raw potato chips in my dehydrator right now.

Hi Roni

I don't know what you could add in place of the papaya. We are in summer here so I haven't thought about it.

What do you have available this time of year? Maybe some more pear would be OK. Maybe someone else can come up with some suggestions.

I'll think about it and see what comes to me.

Blessings

Hi Tracey

Yes it can be very difficult to get all organic. It is actually something I have done gradually. Although I do spend more for organic fruits and vegetables, I find that it is offset by all of the processed foods that I no longer buy. I make everything from scratch these days, but then that does take a lot more time, there are always trade offs it seems. All we can do is the best we can given our situation, and situations change constantly. I think you are doing a wonderful job with your family, you are truly an inspiration!

Lucky for you getting to eat organic. It is too expensive for us here in Australia. I get what I can but that is not much. With 7 of us it is just not viable to buy organic unless I can get to Sydney which is a 2 1/2 treck and too much for the kids especially in summer. They have a organic markets there every Friday and it is supposed to be cheap. Everything for the house organic not just food.

First off you need to make them paper thin. Otherwise they don't turn

out very well at all. Second, play around with them but I think leave

off the oil.

Me too! I wonder why that is! But if I put lemon juice in it or a little apple juice I'm fine! How odd. Thought I was the only one.

My little guy acts like I'm trying to poison him if I give him water. He cries and hands it back to me after one glug.

But if I water down some juice he's fine. My SIL keeps telling me he just likes the taste of juice and wants to get his way. I don't think that's it at all.

==================================

Best is to always eat all raw, gmo free, certified organic as that way

you know exactly what you are getting. Now in the real world that is not

always possible. Not everyone believes in organic farming as they are

subsidized by the US Gov or some such agency elsewhere to grow what they

are told and how to grow it in order for them to make a living. This is

very short sighted on their part. Better would be to grow your own but

that too isn't always possible. So we all must make do with what we have

access to and do the best we can. This is the starting point. Eventually

it all works out exactly as it should. We just need to be educated and

always striving to improve not only our health but our mental and

spiritual well being as well. Education is the key to unlock many doors

that will make all this possible. Never stop educating yourself

concerning your own well being and never stop seeking the truth to anything.

Kathy L.

=====================================

Hi Kathy,

If your digestion is sensitive and is easily aggravated by eating raw

fruits and vegetables then I would suggest that you begin either

fasting or juice cleansing. When you can obtain the herbs then I would

suggest you do a bowel cleanse followed by a liver cleansing. However,

you don't need to obtain herbs to do this. You can do it with the raw

fruits and vegetables that you eat, it only takes longer is all. The

herbs are a quicker way of getting you from point A to point B is all.

Start by doing a simple 1 - 2 or 3 day juice cleanse. You can find it

in the files. You can also begin detoxing your body by taking long hot

baths with either sea salt or epsom salts added or both. This helps to

eliminate the toxins through the skin. Always finsih off by taking a

cold shower though to close your pores. Start a regimen of dry skin

brushing in the AM before your bath or shower and in the PM before

going to bed. Do it every day. Your skin and body will love you for it.

Start analyzing your diet. Most all foods, other than fresh fruits and

green leafy vegetables tend to be acid forming in the body and create

excess mucus. The body doesn't get rid of this mucus too well on its

own. It stores it up beginning at the cellular level of the body. This

is what leads to the major dis-eases that many of us suffer from.

Remove the mucus and toxins and the body is free and clear with no

obstruction anywhere, it will now function as it is supposed to

function - perfectly! :-)

Cooking food also makes it mucus forming. It destroys the necessary

enzymes, denatures the proteins, destroys all the vitamins and minerals

and makes it totally devoid of any life giving substance. It isn't easy

to begin, I know. Just start small, baby steps. Keep at it and

eventually you will begin to notice a difference in yourself and your

health.

Peace be with you Kathy.

=============================

I would suggest you try drinking distilled water and stay away from

Culligan and those bottled waters. They are not as good as they pretend

to be. A lot of them contain fluoride and other harmful contaminants,

mainly because they just use city water and don't do a very good job of

filtering it. Best is always distilled or RO water with no added

inorganic minerals to make it taste good and plug up your kidneys.

Hi Kathy,

I am sorry to hear that you had to have your gall bladder removed.. I

have no doubt as to the pain you experienced afterwards. The gall

bladder is used for storage of bile and cholesterol which are utilized

in the digestion of fats. Most fruits and raw veggies have no fats and

very little oil. Your sensitive digestion must be coming from your

previous and/or current diet.
