============================

Hi TerriLynne,

Lymphagogue, now that is a new one to me. Lymphagogue: Herbs or other

agents that promote or increase lymph production or lymph flow. I am

more used to Antiscrofulus: herbs used to heal swelling and congestion

of lymphatic glands. They are similar but there is a difference in

meaning here but basically they both do the same thing. Other than what

Persian sent here is a rather complete listing from Dr. .

Abscess root, Adder's tongue, agrimony, asphodel root, barberry,

bayberry, bearsfoot, bittersweet, black cohosh, black walnut,

bladderwrack, bloodroot, blue flag, buckbean, burdock root, burning

bush, button snake root, camomile, celandine, chaparral, cleavers,

coltsfoot, comfrey root, culver's root, dandellion, dodder, echinacea,

elder flowers, figwort, frostwort, fumitory, gentian, germander, greater

celandine, guaiac, horseradish, syssop, irish moss, iron weed, ivy,

juniper berries, lavender, manaca, mandrake, marigold leaves (fresh),

mayweed, mezereon, oregon grape, pansy, peruvian bark, pipsissewa,

plantain, pleurisy root, poke root, prickly ash, quince seed and fruit,

red clover, rock rose, rosemary, sarsaparilla, sassafras, silk weed,

soapwort, sorrel, stillingia, stinging nettle, sumach berries, tag

alder, turkey corn, turkey rhubarb, valerian, vervain, water figwort,

white pond lily, wild carrot, wild sage, wintergreen, wood betony,

wormwood, yellow dock, yellow parilla, yellow toad flax.

I guess this 'bout covers 'em. I must admit that lymphagogue is much

easier to spell and pronounce than antiscrofulus. Hehehe
