Wintergreen oil is quite bad for the liver. Methyl salicylate is known to be hepatotoxic. Now maybe you won't have a problem with it but why take the chance. Besides, 32 ounces of pure wintergreen oil is quite expensive. Most likely any wintergreen oil you find for a decent price is going to be Sweet Birch oil that is pretty much identical to wintergreen but much more readily available. They are both very bad for liver cells as they are roughly around 98% methyl salicylate. Personally I think you would be better off adding in an ounce or two of white willow bark for the salicin that is in it (becomes salicylate in the body and is no where near as toxic as methyl salicylate). Just my two cents and I am investigating and researching this further. -- Peace, love and light, Don " Quai " Eitner " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man.
