Guest guest
Hi ! Welcome on board! ...with two children and a husband you sure do have a lot to fight for! It sounds like you have received some good help early on here, so hopefully you will have no problems winning this battle. I have had live blood analysis done--several different times. Results seem to be dependent totally upon the experience (and honesty) of the practitioner. The first time that I had it done, I was told they couldn't read it because my blood was all clumped together (...that particular practitioner has a reputation for scamming people and ripping them off, just so he can put them on supplements). After that I saw a Board Certified ND and he did the test and told me that my blood looked good. (I don't know how it could look good when I was so sick.) Just recently, I saw a herbalist who found a lot of different things going on. This fellow recovered from a massive heart attack and redirected his career to alternative medicine. I remember mainly that I have a high level of candida in my blood. (Candida seems to be found with a lot of different illnesses, including cancer.) He found parasites. I was low on iron. And I wasn't drinking enough water. (None of this came as a surprise to me; however, it did get me started on the road to treating these things.) I have just completed one episode of herbal treatment (Black Walnut, Cloves and Wormwood) for the parasites and had some impressive results. I was going on to another parasite cleanse, but have sort of lost my way because I have been very ill with the flu that is going around. (Because I have an adrenal insufficiency, I always suffer more than your average bear during flu season. ;-) LOL I must tell you that I have more confidence in the alternative doctors, than I do with allopathic doctors. After 10 years of disability, allopathic doctors still can't figure out that I am sick. (...in spite of the fact that my entire endocrine system has collapsed, they still insist that all I basically have is a psychiatric illness. ...if you would look at my medical records you would see who is psychiatric! ;-) LOL Every doctor who has given me a psychiatric diagnosis has missed a major illness. In fact, I would like to send the following article to my former doctors. http://more.abcnews.go.com/sections/living/DailyNews/secondopinion.html I have the so-called " Chronic Fatigue Syndrome " and Fibromyalgia, and what research is finding is long-term patients are winding up with cancer. I have not been diagnosed with cancer--mind you I have never been tested. All I know is that something new is happening now and I am really sick, again. I am hoping that if I could find a good diet, I might reverse this latest slide in my health. Previously, I was doing the diabetic diet (as I am also diabetic); however, every alternative practitioner that I have seen has told me that it is the worst diet I could be on. One ND had me on soy milk and tofu and I had a violent reaction with my bowels. (I have some type of colitis thing going on already, so I really don't want to aggravate my condition.) Needless to say, I lost confidence in that ND. My current ND wants me to do the Zone Diet. But in all of my studies, I am thinking that it might be best if I could follow a diet that cancer patients follow, especially since my illness points in this direction. Could you please tell me what your ND is having you do? My problem is that I am very ill and find meal preparation very difficult. In fact, my husband prepares all of my meals. And because he does gourmet cooking, my " dieting " really cramps his style. He was so happy when I fell off the diabetic diet. (I fell off because of the stress I was experiencing with a group of doctors.) When I recently announced to my husband that I was wanting to do more of a vegetarian diet, he said tongue-in-cheek, " Oh, babes, your doctors are all trying to kill you. Why don't you just help them along? " (You wouldn't believe my doctor experiences!) So, as you see I have no support from my husband and am on my own. If I could just get feeling a bit better, it would be easier for me to keep a diet and do my own meal preparation. Hope I am not bringing you down with my own situation. I am quite sick right now. Once again, welcome to our group. I hope to get to know you better! :-) Kind regards, Trudy Message: 2 Date: Tue, 2 Oct 2001 11:08:33 EDT From: KyHorseMum@... Subject: Introduction/Questions Hello everyone! I'm new to the list and wanted to introduce myself to you all. I am a 40 y.o. married female, 2 children, son-20 and daughter-14. I have just been told by my Naturpathic Dr. that I have cancer cells when he did my live blood analysis. I have seen my bloodwork before (view it on monitor as he does it by microscope) and I knew it looked very different this time. This was very scary as I know you all know the feeling. For me, my first thoughts were my children. They just lost their dad (my exhubby) to cancer last year. Even though we were divorced, I was his caretaker. His parents were deceased and he had no siblings so it left the children and I to care for him. So my immediate thoughts were my children and how I wanted to fight this with everything I had for them! Have any of you had live blood analysis done? This particular Naturpathic Dr. sees cancer patients from all over the US that come to his clinic for help. I had my concerns about accuracy but then realized that with him treating all those patients then surely he knows what the cancer cells look like. I am receiving sooooo much flack from family and friends that do NOT believe in what he does nor the lifestyle changes I'm making to battle this. He told me that this was only the beginning stage of this and if I followed his suggestions I hopefully wouldn't have to do a more indepth program that he uses for other cancer patients. First of all...are any of you familiar w/live blood analysis...second....how do you deal with all the problems from other people when you choose to not see a regular medical dr. for this? I will be converting over to the program which is mainly being vegetarian. I have given up red meats and pork so far but oh myyyy is chicken hard for me! hehe I am anxious to read some of the posts in the archives from the past. Rex, I came to the site yesterday searching for a group such as this and the first post I came to was from you and Deb in regards to your wife. I knew I was in the right place! Looking forward to hearing from you all! Blessings,
