So....., Diluting with water is ok....? And is it ok to put this

anywhere that is " inflamed " .? Other that mucous membranes.

Yep. Remember, the DMSO will get warm when you add something to it. It is actually ok to ingest DMSO, too.

Bob,

Yes, diluting with water is fine, just make sure it is distilled water because any impurities in the water or on your skin will be taken directly into your body via the DMSO. You can also dilute with aloe gel as this will help some of the discomfort during application.
