Common misconception that most folks have about fruits. The sugar in

fruits is processed very differently in the body than refined sugars.

This is because fruit sugar (fructose) is natural in the fruits and

vegetables and has not been processed in any way. Refined sugars or any

kind of sugar you buy in the store (including fructose) has been

processed and is not natural and will create problems with the human

body. Raw fruits sugar has never created any problems for anyone. Raw

fresh organic fruits and veggies is the best diet anyone can be on,

including diabetics. Do not, however, use any concentrated fruit juices

or any store bought fruit juices as they have sugar added, usually, and

are almost always pasteurized. Use only fresh fruits for juicing. Use

only fresh veggies for juicing. Eat only fresh raw fruits and veggies.

If you feel you can't tolerate not having something hot then lightly

steam your veggies.

I would suggest either carrot or apple, unless you can get some real

quality dark grape juice that isn't made from concentrate.

natural sugar in fruits should not hurt you... however, you can do celery or another veggie, but not tomato. Celery would be good for your diabetes also.
