Guest guest
Well the bug has moved on to my oldest daughter now. For some reason it seem this GI bug attacks females harder then males. She has twin boys and one vomited a few times, the other has had a few nasty diapers, her dh is just plain pooped out taking care of them all!!! , has stopped vomiting, but she is not doing so well at taking in fluids and wants to sleep instead. I know this is because she is dehydrated ( she is also nursing those boys, though milk production has come to a screeching halt) and that is making her so lethargic and tired. I am packing to go over to her house ( she is an hour and a half away) so I can play nurse and get her drinking. Does anyone have some good suggestions as to what would help her get on her feet faster? She thinks she could eat a bannana so am going to bring some of those to replace her potasium. She has sipped a bit of gatoraide and 7-up. Do you have an better ideas? I need to get her jump started to break the lethargic/sleep/dehydrated cycle fast.
