Guest guest
Hi Diane, Where in southern Michigan is this health food store? Judith Alta Kidder Southwest Michigan jaltak@... -----Original Message----- hmmm.... so I might as well not eat raw eggs and needlessly put myself at risk for bacteria/salmonella whatever since I do not have my own chickens and my own eggs and must get from store Hi , Have you search for sources of eggs within an hour from your house? Good Eggs are so important that they are one of the items you really should seek out. Check out www.eatwild.com for sources in your area. Hope you can find healthy eggs. I have made copies of page 436 from NT to share with all the people I can get to read it, I feel that strongly about properly raised chicken eggs. Best Wishes, Diane P.S. Not all health food stores are without good eggs. I know of one in southern Michigan that carries locally raised chicken eggs that would qualify for 'good eggs'. My aunt did one of the original studies too -- they fed rats NOTHING BUT eggs. Now these rats were bred to get heart disease in a few weeks on a bad diet -- and they did just fine on eggs. However, they died quickly on a diet of breakfast cereal (no cholesterol). Her conclusion: don't worry about dietary cholesterol, especially eggs. Rats and humans digest food very similarly (the result, probably, of rats living with humans for a hundred thousand years or so!). Guest guest
" Vegetarian " eggs sound great, but be aware to the possibility of micotoxins on stored grains. If the chickens eat 'em and we eat the eggs, we're getting them too. Micotoxins have been tied to MS. Martha
Guest guest
Hello: I just joined the group. I realize this group is about low dose LDN, but can I ask some questions about addiction? I am wondering if I became addicted to sleep somewhere along the line. It seems to have happened after a death in the family over 30 years ago. I take "catnaps" and without them I can compare myself to an alcoholic who desperately needs a drink? Perhaps it's just lack of endorphins? Thanks, RO

Guest guest
Try eggs from cage-free chickens fed flax seed. I have ground flax seed to bake with to replace eggs before learning eggs (2) act as phosphatidylcholine to remyelinate nerve sheaths. Use vegetarian organic eggs if you have trouble with the flax seed (omega 3). Guest guest
Hi I have a month old who I just started on egg yolks and what I have found to work is sticking a knife into the yolk and letting it drain into the bowl. It is the only way I found to work without getting the whites mixed in or the yolk over cooking. Hope that helps. Tifanie <tshimanski@...> wrote: Therese, Thanks for your expertise! Guest guest
After my GB attack, I learned that " we " should not eat eggs or much meat. I got very queasy after eating an egg, but someone suggested I might try organic eggs. I did and have not had a problem. I still limit them, even though they are very good for " normal " people. But I only buy organic eggs now. Amber You may want to reconsider. Guest guest
I don't think that is true that people with toxic illness should avoid eggs Tug. I think it's one of those things that people have heard and they repeat it and repeat it and then people think it's true. I think this got started because a patient of Dr Marinkovich put his diet plan from Dr M on the internet and called it 'mold free diet'. I asked Dr M about it and he said " person who put it on internet must have also had an allergy to egg " , since eggs are not part of his 'mold avoidance' recommendations. I think alot of people are just allergic to eggs. Peanuts are another one. I test mildly allergic to egg but I eat them anyway. I am also mild allergy to cats but have two, so?? It depends on how much it bothers you. > > Why are eggs not good for those who have been exposed to toxic mold? > > Thanks > > Tug >
Guest guest
Try egg beaters. I use them with a little swiss cheese and have no problems but we are all different. I have to admit I used to eat eggs whites by the dozen but ever since my mold exposure I wont come near them. I might just take a walk on the wild side and try eating some tomorrow morning.
