Kat,

This is wonderful news. I was interviewed by my local newspaper in

Rhode Island shortly after my implant surgery. It was a very good

experience and I'm sure your interview will be likewise. Hopefully,

they will follow you thru the surgery and activation to complete the

story.

Good Luck with the interview. I'm sure you'll do a great job. We

wouldn't mind if you gave CI Hear a plug too. <grin>

Woohoo!

I've posted on the Weston A Price Foundations boards (

boards) info. about this (though I'm not sure I have the details

perfectly accurate). I think one long and very thorough article

(written by a writer of the group???) would be great for us all to

post everywhere in the form of flyers, e-mails, web posts, press

releases, etc.

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to share............I added a picture in 's album. It is of a

sign at a golf tournament. My Mother is Director of a non-profit organization

that was having a golf tournament to raise money. You could donate by sponsoring

a hole. So we did in honor of and my Mom added Infantile Scoliosis Outreach

Program. Wish she would have added the web address, but she said it got lots of

attention regardless.

This was in Orange, Texas-that is SE Texas. Very small town.

Anyway it was a good opportunity to spread the word and get people talking. I

always tend to think if more people know about Infantile Scoliosis, they may one

day cross paths with a Mom or Dad of a child that has it. Thus giving them the

chance to share what they know.

Always wishing we could do more.

Take care,

There I was, sitting in the back of a rental shuttle with a couple of other

customers who were

being picked up by Enterprise Rent-a-Car and taken to our cars. The ride was

long because

they'd run out of cars at our location, so we were on the freeway for about 10

minutes.

Conversation ensued, during which I learned that the guy in the front seat was a

breast

cancer researcher. As I sat and pondered whether I had the guts to slip this

stranger a note

with the LDN website on it, I thought of all of you and felt like I had an army

standing behind

me. I wrote out the info and handed it to him with a brief explanation, and he

said he'd look

it up.

Who knows? Everything happens for a reason, right? We never know which

coincidental

connection will end up saving lives. If we all do this (and I know many of you

do) we'll hit the

jackpot at some point, right?
