Guest guest
Hello all, This video is extremely interesting and I thought you might be interested. It is not about LDN specifically but I hope you will all forgive the 'off topic' post. It is about an alternative to many of the disease therapies for illnesses shared by many of the members to this group. Hope you enjoy - I did. http://www.know-the-cause.com/Shows/TullioSimonciniMDWithDougKaufmann/tabid/109/\ Default.aspx
Guest guest
Glad you liked it ! I've been debating whether or not to follow an anti-candida regimen along with the rest of my 'supportive diet'. I want to help LDN to help me as best as possible. I was tested for candida via stool sample and it came back negative but after seeing that video and reading Healing MS by Ann Boroch - I think I'm going to stick with it, at least for 6 months to a year to see if it helps cause it sure can't hurt. Any other suggestions: No sugar No wheat / white flours No dairy No alchohol, yeast or vinegar No sugary fruit (only berries) Plus - anti-fungal herbs such as pau d'arco, olive leaf extract etc. Anyone have any idea how many 'servings' a day I should include the pau d'arco tea or other anti-fungals? > Hello all, > This video is extremely interesting and I thought you might be > interested. Guest guest
Thank you for sharing that video about fungus. It is absolutely pertinent to this group and and confirms what Dr. McCandlass (spelling?) believes, that one has to treat the Candida infection first before the LDN can work it's wonders. Guest guest
, I was blown away by that video also and believe the same about the candida. How long do you think you need to be on the candida diet for the LDN to work fully? I got a prescription from my doc this week and have been waiting a few days to start until I've been diligent on the diet but how long? wendy Gfeller <wendytunnicliffegfeller@...> wrote: Thank you for sharing that video about fungus. Guest guest
Hi Joni. Sorry I can't answer your question. I'm just starting to learn about candida. I've just had blood and urine work done but haven't yet seen my doctor to talk about if you the results. I'll let you know if you like, about the treatment when I know more. I'm not on any anti-Candida diet yet and am taking LDN. My feeling is it maybe isn't working optimumly (is that a word?) but it can't hurt. Maybe you could email Dr. McCandlass personally and see what she says. All the best on your journey towards good health. Guest guest
Glad you liked it - I thought it was interesting. I'm pretty strict with my diet but having a hard time eliminating some 'candida' stuff. Especially now that summer's coming and wonderful watermelon and strawberries surround me ! I'm also having a hard time remembering my candida tinctures and stuff - I just have SOOOO many supplements I'm taking I get dizzy trying to remember all of mine and my kids and oh no there's a soccer game tonight and dinner's not ready - oh ya - I'm I bringing the snack to the game? OOPS sorry - I digress. Yes - candida - I'm trying to get it under control. > > > > > > > > Thank you for sharing that video about fungus. Guest guest
> summer's coming and wonderful watermelon and strawberries surround me What.....Ive been living off of watermelon since I started LDN....Tell me more. How does this cause yeast infection? This gets more and more in depth as the days go by ....lol
Guest guest
Woo woo woo - slow down. Watermelon doesn't cause candida but it can contribute to the problem. Anything with sugar feeds yeast. Part of the protocol in getting rid of yeast overgrowth is to take an antifungal as well as 'starving' the yeast by avoiding all foods with sugar or yeast as well as those that have been fermented like vinegar, soy sauce, alchohol etc. Watermelon is high on the sugar chart. Berries - except strawberry, are not. Good Luck, > > > > summer's coming and wonderful watermelon and > strawberries surround me > > > What.....Ive been living off of watermelon since I started LDN....Tell > me more.
