Guest guest
Both my husband and I have probable herniated disks in our lower backs. I can't remember what he did to his, but mine is from severe trauma having a horse go over backwards on me about 15 years ago. As I age, I am having more and more trouble with it, as is my husband. We are both very physically active, as in hard workers (garden, he is a manual laborer, house rebuilding, farm work, etc.....) but it is getting harder to convince DH to help out around here because his back is killing him. I am the type to force myself to keep going any way, but we are more afraid of permanent damage to his back because he is our bread winner. What can we do for rehab on our backs? I do regular stretches, and some exercises for it, but DH is also very over weight, so it is hard to convince him to do stretches. We do "pop" each other's backs regularly. Is there any hope of healing these damaged disks? What would be the best pain reliever for us? Thanks!!! Kim God's Blessings FarmGet more from the Web.
