Guest guest
There should be no reaction between these two according to drug/med charts. However, i don't like the idea of taking drugs for depression and then taking something to help you sleep. She needs to get some exercise.. whether it be walking or whatever (if this is possible).. to "wear her body down" so it will want to sleep on it's own... and this will also work towards helping to relieve the depression... Exercise is a wonderful tool. Guest guest
I forgot to add that calcium, magnesium and zinc as well as vitamins B6, B3 and C supplements can help calm the nervous system and so help treat insomnia. which would also help the depression instead of taking the drug. They are contra-indicated in cases of depression. I do not believe they will interact with her drugs but I don't think taking it for insomnia is such a good idea as she is depressed. She needs to find the cause of her depression and insomnia. I am quite sure they are closely related and tied in together. What is her diet like? What type of lifestyle does she have? There are lots of questions that you can ask her to help her find the answers she needs. Sometimes that is all that a person needs is someone to sit down with them and ask them a bunch of questions. Not always but sometimes they will come to a realization all on their own. Can't hurt and will be more beneficial as it will bring out more data.
