Hi

Good to hear that your mum is doing well and improving. This is great.

You are both still in my prayers and thoughts.

You only need a few drops, I put my sons in his juice

Mandi in UK

I heard recently that the GSE liquid is extremely hard to swallow

(burning in the throat), even if put into a capsule. How do others get

this into their kids successfully?

It tastes very bitter, like concentrated grapefruit. I would not call

it " burning " .

>>even if put into a capsule.

I have put it into capsules without any problems.

Usually putting it into lemonade or orange juice is successful.

Do you take the liquid or the capsules? It is horrible tasting stuff if

mixed with water! :o The owner of a health food store told me to mix it

with purple grape juice and it really does cover the taste well. I had no

idea it worked on yeast as well as bacterias. She recommends it for

parasites as well.

Kenda,

I take the liquid. I just bought some for my Mom today -- it was $10.99

at Whole Foods. Great bang for the buck, not to mention safe bang for

the buck. I priced the caps. If you can afford it, a thirty day supply

is about 11 or 12 bucks. With the liquid, it is several months supply

for the same amount of $$.

I am up to 15 drops 3x day, but I am being aggressive and seeing good

results. My mom is starting with 5 drops 2x day.

If you are not eating sugar, you can go hard core and just drink with

water, but after a few weeks of that, I added about 1/2 ounce of 100%

cranberry juice. Another ounce or two of water. (That has even less

sugar than grape juice.) I have also taken it in water with a squeze of

lemon. It works. It is terribly bitter, but I read that someone called

it " The taste you love to hate. " I drink at least 8 oz of regular water

after that. It's supposed to be good for plaque and mouth care, but I

can't bear to even try to keep the taste in my mouth after.

At first. I DID have Herx reactions. Bad ones. Severe

fibromyalgia-like body pain -- 6 1/2 or 7 on a 10 scale -10 being say,

kidney stone or childbirth. I cut back and it got better in a fwe days.

Then for a day I noticed that my ear canals and middle ears were kind of

.....active. Burning. Itching. I was very aware of them. I have

chronically blocked ears, but no wax ( they pop every time I swallow).

Can't really go underwater for any depth past one or two feet. I also

have a hearing loss and pretty marked tinnitus, resulting from what

people suspected was mumps as a kid.

The day after that, my sinuses felt the same way. I was very aware of

them and they burned a little. I also had wretched post-nasal drip,

which has gotten better.

I am wondering if it was hitting yeast in those areas.

Dawn.

Hi Dawn,

I use the liquid too but it does taste terrible! :o I used it in water for

quite a while, until the health food store owner told me about using an

ounce or so of grape juice. If you have a canker sore, put a drop on the

canker sore and it will speed healing considerably. I have had them

disappear over night, if I catch them early.

Very cool to know about the canker sores. I used to get them something

awful before I went off gluten and started eating like a rabbit with an

expensive Whole Foods crack-like habit.

Thanks! Yeah, these last few days I am kind of shuddering and getting

a watery feeling in my mouth when I just THINK about it being time to

take the GSE. It really tastes terrible.

My mom tried it for the first time today. I warned her.

Me: Hey, Mom, this stuff really tastes bad. I mean, bad like the

most bitter thing you could ever imagine tasting.

My mom: Yeah okay.

Me: No really. I mean bad. Bad like the inside- of- a-solvent-can-bad.

My mom: Okay, whatever. Thanks for telling me.

She gave me that " you're overreacting " face.

Two hours later she calls me from work. " That stuff was really

terrible! I can't believe it! "

She sounded suprised, like I should have warned her! She's short. I

can call her cute.

Dawn
