Guest guest
Hi All, The reason I'm asking is that a friend warned me that these types of pharmacies often get their meds from India and other places where there is little quality control. I see that River gets their Naltrexone from India. I guess another question would be if you have had good results..... Thanks, -- [low dose naltrexone] Re: River Pharmacy ? Guest guest
Well, I guess that's the chance you take. If one can not get a doctor's prescription for LDN, getting Naltrexone 50mg tablets from India via River Pharmacy in Canada is the next best thing. The tablets come in a sealed foil package saying Nodict Naltrexone Hydrochloride Tablets USP with some other words on it. Has a bar code, too. Looks safe and official to me. The G/F and her thyroid is doing well on homemade liquid LDN made with those tablets. Guest guest
I ordered mine from AllDayChemists. Their Naltrexone is under the generic name of Naltima manufactured by INTAS in India. It's INDIA FDA approved. It took about 15 days to receive after ordering and is considerably cheaper $48 for 30 tablets vs. $99 or 30 tablets that Rivers charges. I believe Rivers gets their generic Nodict from SunPharma in India, also FDA approved. I'm sure there are many companies out there, including India and other global locations that aren't legit. We have to watch that closely. Hope this helps. > > > > Hi, > > > > I ordered naltrexone from River Pharmacy, mainly out of curiosity. Guest guest
Many people have done just that and it has worked out pretty good. Personally I prefer to order right from Skips or Irmats because it is already at the right dose and I don't have to worry about where it comes from. But you would need a script from a doctor. Aletha Re: [low dose naltrexone] Anyone ever used PatientsLike Me WebSite? Hi Fritz,I agree it is important to post to this group. I post on the Parkinsons board with them. Maybe you can reach a few new folks with LDN.Best Regards,DestinyFritz Bell <fsbx@...> wrote: Perhaps this has been discovered long ago by people using this Message Board but I just recently came across this Site and it is a good place to report your success or failure with Treatments and a few people taking LDN have done that:http://www.patientslikeme.com/welcome/community/ms

Guest guest
Hi Gunnar, I have tried to order some vitamine C from US. They sent it to me, but the Norwegian custom sent it back to US, because the daily dosage written on the box was higher than what's legal in Norway. I've later learned that I have to order vitamins from EU contries, if I want to keep them. I am sure your doctor (your GP) will write an rx on LDN, if you let him know more about it at first. Use: www.gazorpa.com and read the stuff that is ment to the doctor. (Ellers: hyggelig at det kommer flere svensker til forumet også, velkommen hit ;-) Ingrid Re: [low dose naltrexone] River Pharmacy ? Guest guest
My doctor actually says she's not allowed to prescribe LDN. She says it requires a special license to prescribe medicin off-label in Sweden. And I can't really argue with her, cause I have no clue about this. Thankfully there are other options. I'll see what happens... (Tack ska du ha, Ingrid! /Gunnar > > Hi Gunnar, > I have tried to order some vitamine C from US. Guest guest
Hejsan Gunnar/ Ingrid, I used to send all kinds of supplements to my mom & dad in Malmoe until a couple of years ago. No one ever returned or blocked my packages. Is this alowed just for Sweden, then? Or do you think they are just not as thorough in checking in Sweden? Angel Re: River Pharmacy ? Guest guest
I have no idea, but maybe the customs can see on the package if it comes from a pharmacy or not. Does anybody here know if it's possible to see this on packages from, say, River Pharmacy? /Gunnar Re: [low dose naltrexone] River Pharmacy ?I think at least in the EU (European Union), it's illegal to buy drugs from outside EU.Any comments on this?
