Guest guest
I think I'll know if it's helping. If I can stop constantly running to the bathroom and if my liver enzymes go down, then it's helping. ***************************************************** , I have been treating Crohn's / Colitis with 4.5 mg LDN since March 2008 (I have had Crohn's for 30 years). I was in a LOT of pain and was having diarrhea 10 – 20 times a day before LDN which was reduced to 2 – 3 times per day (plus pain relief) the first day on LDN! I still have diarrhea about 2 – 3 times (on most days) due to poor choices (diet / alcohol) but I do not have any pain. In the first 2 months I had a few " crohns-ish " days (not as bad as before LDN) but each day got better and better. I feel that it has taken me about 3 months to feel the " full " benefit of LDN. (Last Friday, I actually went 10 hours before my " one " bowel movement all day!!!!) I began with 4.5 mg and have stayed on it since, with minimal side effects. I have had some sleep interruption and wake around 11:00 p.m. and again at 2:00 p.m.(most nights) but I am able to quickly fall back to sleep. (I have always had sleep interruption, even before LDN). I feel fairly certain that the LDN will help with your diarrhea (especially if you are more " disciplined than I am – diet, etc.). I encourage you to stick with it because LDN has really made an incredible difference in my life! Please keep us posted!
