I'm sure many will chime in, but you don't want ALA until you've done about 3

months of chelating w/ DMSA or DMPS.

Reason: ALA OPENS the barrier to the brain, BBB brain blood barrier. ALA then

allows ANY toxins in the blood stream to ENTER the brain.

You don't want that.

You want to clear the blood stream FIRST of most of the free floating mercury,

etc. THEN use ALA after three months. Now the blood stream is cleared of the

extra mercury you got when recent dental work was done.

After the three months, then the chelator (because of the addition of ALA) will

go into the brain and kinda float out the mercury. Crosses the brain blood

barrier.

And the reason for the every three hours is that's the half life of ALA. You

want a steady flow of ALA/Chelator every 3 hours w/DMSA to not cause a backload

of mercury to redistribute back into the brain.

Then after your round of lets say ALA DMSA some of us do one more dose of JUST

DMSA. That way you are again making sure that the blood stream of the last dose

clears mercury. Because the ALA window is still open. Hope this last bit made

sense.

You want to close the window to the brain, but as it starts to close, (ALA)

you're not getting a big dump of mercury.

Be well.

Alison.

Adult, 49, healing from mercury poisoning. Adult healing from mercury poisoning

(I meant to write it twice). Not a child but an adult.

I get tired of hearing how adults, and older children can't heal from this.

Plenty of friends and relatives in my life to testify to the above. I'm healing.

Believe it. Never quit.
