Guest guest
This is very interesting information. Was it OK with Naomi that you should cross post to another group, and leave her email adress on it? If ever anything I wrote was of sufficient interest that a group member would want to pass it on, I'd like to think that they would at least delete my personal details from it. I've already started receiving spam to my brand new newsgroup address. Guest guest
The Alternative Medicine Forum has over 2800 members. Not a place to post to if one is worried about someone else reading one's e-mail address. At the bottom of each post is material I usually zap because it is extraneous. One of the lines reads " Please pass this message or article on to someone else so that they may learn also. " I pass messages from group to group all the time and I never zap the headers. If you don't now who posted the message, it is hard to write to the author for more info. Alobar Re: Cross posting. > This is very interesting information. The moderation is less severe than it used to be, which I think is a good thing. Luckily, most of the 2800+ members mainly read posts while a few post a lot. One warning. If you offended by heavy criticism of the US government, the list may upset you. Many posts are very political in nature. There are over 7000 members on this list and just over 1100 on the FDC list, so clearly the two parts that you refer to are not equal ;-)
Guest guest
Well, I didn't say anything about equality. Nor was I referring to all the other lists out there. I was referring to A-M and FDC. I still think that if we are going to have two lists, then there aught to be _some_ distinction between them. If not, then we might as well re-merge them into one.
