Hi Bob,

sounds great, hope you'll be able to collect a lot of anecdotes from both the oldies and the new members.

Glad to have you here!

[low dose naltrexone] Re: LDN and multiple sclerosis. How long LDN states in our body?Dr. Bob,It's too bad so many of the knowlegable old time members no longer post here. They really were a wealth of experience and information. Very encouraging and interesting to read. You would have benefitted greatly from them. Because of so many off topic posts and other nonsense here and the ensuing arguments/disagreements some decided to form breakaway LDN groups and now these people are scatttered all over. You should you use the search feature on this site to read what they posted. It really is great to actually have someone from the medical professsion as an active

member. Thank you for sticking with us.Art-->> Yup, not bad. Let's hope those lesions stay arrested and perhaps reduced over time.> Just to set the record straight, I am not a doctor, or I would be opening up to everyone who wants an LDN Rx for legitimate reasons.> But I am a medical professional, been in the business for 35 years both in clinical and administrative functions. Plus as a sideline, work with many doctors as a computer consultant and medical programmer.> My current passion is to find out as much about LDN as possible, and generate discussions with as many physicians as possible. This site is a good barometer of the different

experiences patients have had on LDN.> Since I am a database prgrammer, I am thinking about getting with some of the heavy hitters on this list to discuss a large warehouse of anecdotal data in the future. Maybe we can get enough quality data to determine some trends. This would be not only interesting, but a document to present to physicians reluctant to prescribe LDN. Maybe there is something out there already? In any event, If this sounds positive, I can start in a few months (got some big projects happening right now).> Bottom line, we have a grat opportunity to prove or disprove patient reactions and not limit this to a small study.> Best Regards,> Bob C------------------------------------

Ingrid, glad to be here. Just checked with my MS friend and she cancelled her next infusion of Tysbri. This made her feel terrible, and LDN was at least giving her more energy and strength. As far as collecting data, it is very dificult to get real concrete data from anecdotes like these, so we will have to have some good discussion on what to incude and what to toss. Maybe a ranking system. Not being a legitimate medical study there are fewer controls, but MUCH more data to pull from. I was also pondering more on this. Thee are a number of longer term people who are on LDN. It might be interesting to do a paper and have these poeple give more detailed histories of their experiences, including timelines, dosages, results, side effects. Maybe 20 or so of these so that new people interested can see a good compilation of othwes experience, and not just the

abbeviated versions we see here on the list. Am I off base here? Just trying to think of ways to consolidate these stories and maybe help get the word out. They could be posted on the main web sites. I may be wrong, but it seems this "grassroots" initiative is getting bigger, and information is all over the place. If some of you had not noted a few links in your e-mails, I would have never found them. Anyone else have any thoughts on this?
