Guest guest
I know this sounds gross, but are his stills more loose than before. Or do they have more mucous. With my sons stools when he has an allergy or sensitivity to a product or food we will notice his stool is more loose in color and very mucousy. Back when he wore diapers it was easy to tell, but now I have to go based on what I see on the tp or whether he says his butt itches. If there doesn't seem to be a reaction than maybe it's possible what you are smelling is the virus' that may have been built up in his body starting to leave. I'm pretty inexperienced at this, but maybe he could be more sick since starting it because the virus' and his body are protesting. Not used to anything that healthy in the body. I don't have any experience with Kirkmanns colostrum, but my family takes the New Zealand; New Life Candida Support Colostrum made by Symbiotics. I take it daily for my Candida Overgrowth and I give it to everyone else in the family when they are really sick. For my dh and youngest (healthy) son 1-2 doses and they start getting well. But for my older toxic son it only helps him get over it faster. When I first started taking my hormones and body did a lot of strange things because it was trying to rid my body of virus' and toxins. After that adjustment period I haven't been more healthy in my life and haven't had any more candida infections until this year. It has been a terrible winter for virus'. I don't give it to my oldest son daily because I don't feel his body can handle it yet. Sorry I don't have more supportive info, but I do know Colostrum is wonderful. I can't tell you since I'm inexperienced if it's the most effective way to go. > > Hello, > > I have a ? re. Colostrum and its possible connection to having smelly poops (cow poop smelling)? Has anyone seen this? Colostrum was initiated by our doctor in NE Ohio. I was looking for a product with immune system enhancing properties without the possible viral- flare-up/revved up immune system response as we just really wanted him stronger and more able to fight viruses and yeast or anything that comes his way. So he has been using 1 tsp 2 times a day of the liquid Colostrum from Kirkmans. Is anyone else using this product? Have you seen a change? Have you seen smelly poops? How about Colostrum as being a subtle immune system support vs.anti-viral therapy? I was really hoping for some subtle support only vs. anti- viral therapy. Not sure if it is helping at all, either. He has been sick a lot since we started about a month ago. Any opinions? advice? > > Thank you all! > > > > >
Guest guest
Hello! and thanks for your response. No, his stools are actually now formed. No mucus and no smell either. he had horrible stinky poops (mushier/softer) prior to getting this green one for the third time today. The reason why I think it may be virus, as you are saying, is b/c it is clearly not yeast and we have had just 4 weeks back the OATS done that only showed high yeast, not bacteria. Maybe since then, because of the Nystatin and Diflucan being added in, though, could have more bacteria? Or, pehaps the OAT test did not pick it up? is that possible? We just came back 2 weeks ago from the Keys and both me and my 6 y old were very sick there. I had green diarhea with terrible smell, and he had nausea and vomiting with some diarrhea for a few days. The it stopped. he did get more OCDish and haven't gotten much better since then. I wonder if the Colostrum may help him heal the gut in more ways than I knew it would. B/c of the green color, though, I tend to think it may be the same virus I had but he may not have been able to flush it out until just now? with the Colostrum plus antifungal medicine? Just thinking out loud. Thanks for the input on this...! > > > > Hello, > > > > I have a ? re. Colostrum and its possible connection to having > smelly poops (cow poop smelling)? Colostrum generally contains milk. Are you cf? >>we just really wanted him stronger and more able to fight viruses and yeast or anything that comes his way. Vitamin C and lysine corrected my son's immune system. They eliminated existing viruses and allowed his body to fight off new ones. Biotin ended his yeast overgrowth problem. At my house, green bm meant my son ate something not tolerated. >> He is acting tired, > lethargic, as if he was ill, poor apetite, lack of responsiveness > and attention, very sound sensitive...any thoughts? At my house, sound sensitivity was 75% yeast and 25% viral. Dana
