I

am planning on trying the Master Cleanse on myself after

the kids go back to school and all the goodies have been eaten up. ;-0

Typically

I eat pretty well due to ’s diet.

Even though I am not on it, it does

prevent me from eating ilegals in front of her, but BOY! I have been

sneaking

fudge, cookies and all the other ‘good?’ things that come with

Christmas and I can really feel it

doing it bad things, so am going to purge and start over.

How

do you feel while on the MC? What is the typical

response? Wondering how it’s going to affect my ablity to keep up with

the family? Hi Carole,

you are going to have good days and tired days. You will have days when

you won't feel so hot and then you will have days when you feel

incredible.

Is

it worth starting even if I can’t make it the whole

10 days? Any fast or

cleanse for any amount of time is better than no cleansing.

Someone

said they bought a ‘cheap’ juicer at Wal-Mart, anyone take note of what brand that was?

Do

you take your regular supplements while on a fast, or do

you stop for that time? Yes this is

where Suzi and I differ. You can take your supplements if you wish but

if you are cleansing then you want to cleanse and not be adding

anything back in. If your body is trying to digest something that is

energy that is not being utilized in cleansing and restoring order.

What

about coffee??? Isn’t coffee a ‘natural

herb? ;-) All joking aside… I

have stopped it before and my biggest problem is it messes up my brain

big

time! I would love to ditch it, but

need to be able to remember things <g>You be

coffee is a natural herb, as long as it is raw and not roasted.

Roasting coffee makes it mucus forming in the body. It changes the

natural chemicals in the raw coffee bean and make unnatural chemicals

out of it. There is nothing natural about a cup of coffee. It is not

good for you in any way shape or form. It does have medicinal value but

then so does arsenic.

Anything

I could use to help with memory instead of coffee?

How long does it take for normal brain function to return once you get

rid of

coffee? If you are

drinking coffee then you don't have normal brain function. You have a

chemically induced brain function. You wish normal brain function then

cleansing and fasting and getting rid of the mucus forming foods is the

best you can do. You body will store mucus anywhere including the

brain. This causes congestion or constipation and is what causes loss

of brain function and memory. Exercise the brain and utilize the herbs

that are proven to helps facilitate the oxygen transport to the brain.

Too much congestion in the brain cuts down on the amount of oxygen that

gets to the cells. This is where you begin to lose cognitive functions

and memory.

As

a side note- they have tested both nicotine and caffeine

in people with DS and have found both boost cognitive thinking

abilities!! I

believe it! The caffeine sure works for me. Gave up

nicotine many years ago though and don’t

remember,hhhmm…. Nicotine

and caffeine are both toxic to the human body. Do they boost cognitive

abilities? Sure maybe in a short term study funded by the tobacco and

coffee industries or the pharmaceutical industries. A thorough body

cleanse and raw food diet will boost your cognitive functions naturally

and so much more than any amount of coffee or nicotine ever will.

Where

does your body get the omega 3’s and fats it

needs on an all raw diet? Nuts? Not

all nuts have Omega 3’s and is that enough to keep up with the

body’s demand? You will

get all the omegas you need from the fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds

that you consume. Safflower, sunflower, sesame and hemp seed oil all

have omegas in them. Hemp has the perfect natural blend of 3 and 6.

Christime

is on a grain/startch free diet which leaves

you with fruits, veggies, nuts

and selected dairy that has the

lactose removed, and I have a hard time keeping her fat levels up. I

can tell

because her skin starts to dry out.

When I had her stool tested, she also tested very low for

those types of

fats. Now that can be a good sign

too as fats are the hardest to digest and if they are absent in the

stool,

means the body used them up.

I

supplement her with

Carlson’s Fish oil, I add virgin coconut oil and

or olive oil directly to her foods as

well. She has developed a reaction to one of the nuts, and really need

to go

through the process of finding out

which one it was, or if she even is still having a problem

with it.

Just couldn’t pick a day

where I thought it would OK for her

to have to throw up repeatedly. ;-(
