Guest guest
Michele (and Caryn) - This is not " fairly low dose " . It's very high. Please read more carefully on chelation before you continue down this path, as it can lead to serious concequences. If you chelate, it should be oral, low dose, dosed more often (on the half life - dosing half as much twice as often is safer than twice as much half as often, and certainly safer than a bolus IV dose), and EDTA, an obsolete lead chelator with some unpleasant side effects, should never be used unless there is lead present and DMSA is not tolerated. EDTA will do nothing for mercury. Please, take my advice. You will find many, many people, on this list, the Frequent-Dose-Chelation list, and on the Adult-Metal-Chelation list, who have had horrible and in some cases permanently damaging experiences following this route. Please. Dave. ----------- Posted by: " michelesbrock " michelesbrock@... michelesbrock Date: Wed May 14, 2008 11:22 am ((PDT)) My daughter just did her first IV CaEDTA. It was a fairly low dose (250mg and she weighs 55 lbs). She was up from 2am on last night. Is this a typical side effect or does anyone know what causes this? Also, what other things are people typically adding to the IV (e.g, vitamins, minerals, glutathione, etc.)? Any input would be appreciated. ----------- Posted by: " Caryn Reid " caryn_reid@... Guest guest
IV chelation in general and glutathione are not recommended. Please consider oral chelation using DMSA/ALA on Andy's protocol it is more appropriate and much safer. EDTA is contraindicated for mercury toxic folks. What are you trying to chelate? Have you done a Hair Elements Test and applied counting rules? What did it show?
