DMSO is not even an oil. It is a solvent and has the incredible ability to carry certain things into the body along with it. A carrier oil would be like EVOO (Extra Virgin Olive Oil), Sweet Almond oil, Sesame oil, sunflower oil, etc, etc, etc. All cold pressed and organic preferred. -- Peace, love and light, Don Quai " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man. The purpose of a carrier oil is to carry the essential oils to the skin. Basically it is a way to administer the eo's without using them neat (straight which can be dicey at best). This way you deliver the oils in a diluted form and vegetable oils make the best carrier or base oil. -- Peace, love and light, Don Quai " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man.
