My son's skin was yellow colored as an infant, because of improper carotene conversion. I had to remove all carotenes [orange and green foods primarily] until I corrected that problem. Selenium was required, along with vitamin C, zinc, and proper thyroid functioning. It also required ALA chelation. > I started him on Milk Thistle but was wondering if I should get his liver > function tested. You can do that if you want. Only certain yellows were a problem, like corn. Certain reds were also a problem. It was orange and green that were major problems. Pinto beans, wax beans, chicken, pears and peeled apples with No-Fenol enzyme, wheat with AFP Peptizyde. Dana
