We use herbal stuff randomly through the course of life - mullein being

our favorite. Have done some infusions, but not necessarily as an

alternative to biomed. Mostly, I just use herbs in the course of our

food intake, edible herbs. We've steeped sassafras, added borage to the

salads, that sort of thing. I think that herbs have a great place in

every day life, and are even as beneficial to other plants as they are

to us - such as the oregano/tomato love affair in the garden. But, it

is hard to find info on processing and use of herbs. My friend, the

herbalist who introduced us to mullein, likes to guard all her little

secrets to make money on them - which I find a bit rude, so I don't ask

her much.

I'd be interested in more info about specific medicinal uses for the

purposes of this board myself. I did have my son-in-law on licorice

until his adrenal cortex came. To be honest, the adrenal cortex did a

lot more for him than the licorice, though it helped in the meantime.
