We decided there was no purpose for it in super, total or complete Nutrition.. It is 'dead" as it has no life like enzymes etc.. In other words it could be considered a "filler" doesn't do anything but take up space.. lol.

I would probably try brewer's yeast or use the nutritional yeast I still have.

Hi Susie,

I have a question about the nutritional yeast in the below recipe. I know that it was decided that nutritional yeast was unnecessary to, I confuse the names, total tonic? Was it also decided that it isn't particularly good for you? If this is so, what would be a good substitute in the below recipe? Any ideas?

Thanks,

TerriLynne

Butternut Sauce1 butternut squash, cooked and cubed1/4 cup miso (dark and light both work)1/4 cup hot water (not boiling)1/3 cup nutritional yeast3 Tbsp dijon mustard1 Tbsp soy saucedash garlic

Throw everything into blender and blend until smooth. Use as a dip with raw veggies or as a sauce over steamed veggies and/or pasta.
