Guest guest
Elen - you need to spend some time in the files section of this list, to learn something about the protocol. I am an adult using 25mg every 3 hours, and when I go to 30mg the side effects are powerful enough that I can't go on for long. R-ALA is not recommended. All of the research is based on ALA - and moving around neurotoxins is not something you want to be anything less than very conservative about. Dave. -------------------- Posted by: " Elen Morell " elen@... elen_morell Date: Wed May 21, 2008 6:32 am ((PDT)) Hi, I am getting ready to do chelation with ALA for my daughter and for myself. She is high viral child with generally healthy gut. Her thinking is very slow, that I hope chelation would help. I noticed that most ALA supplements have a lot of it inside - 200 mg or more. And I know that most people on the list used doses about 25 mg or so. Why is it this way? I read about R-ALA being more potent, but it still does not explain. Thank, Elen Morell
Guest guest
Dave, thank you for the answer. I saw someone mentioned mood and anxiety problems as major side effects. Do you see similar issues as problems? Elen > > Elen - you need to spend some time in the files section of this list, to learn > something about the protocol. Guest guest
They can be, but not necessarily. When mercury is basically immobile in tissues, then the level of symptomology is less than when it becomes mobilized though the presence of sulfur compounds on the blood. Chelation moves the mercury and so you do get symptoms. On the other hand, you can help yourself a great deal by figuring out if your kidneys happen to have the characteristic that they hold on to sulfur. If they do, then you can substantially help your symptoms by following a low sulfur diet. If they don't, you will want to follow an adequate sulfur diet. In some cases, there is very low sulfur in the bloodstream, and then you would want to consider high sulfur foods or supplementation, as sulfur is important for bodily processes. For all this, search for " sulfur exclusion diet " on this list, using onibasu.com.
