Make certain that the minerals your give your grandson's are organic though and not inorganic. If you are using organic minerals, as in whole foods rich in them such as fresh fruits, green leafy vegetables, etc, then there will be no problems with using herbs. Any anti-oxidants will help. Pulverized citrus rinds for the C or rose hips (powdered or tea form), lots of foods high in selenium. Let him eat lots of beta-carotene rich foods too. Since your grandson is only 8 it would probably be better to leave the Kava out. However, the licorice and ginseng (don't forget some ginger too) will help him a lot. -- Peace, love and light, Don Quai " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man.
