Guest guest
Hi, If I give my son B-Complex vitamins, TMG, and other supplements that caue yeast and an hour later give him activated charcoal, will it only sweep up the yeast or the supplements as well? Also, an hour after activated charcoal, I can give biotin, probiotics and supplements that do not cause yeast. Correct? Thanks. -Max. <http://geo./serv?s=97359715/grpId=416807/grpspId=1705061616/ms gId=13173/stime=1210181696/nc1=5191947/nc2=5191951/nc3=5170415>
Guest guest
I think an hour in between charcoal is too soon. I tend to do 2 hours before and after charcoal for the same reason that you mentioned, that it might sweep up the supps. Also, I do not give charcoal all of the time, only when the die off reaction from yeast is really bad. I'd like to see what others think about this issue as well. Thanks for posting. --- " Tendler, Max " <MTendler@...> wrote: > Hi, > > If I give my son B-Complex vitamins, TMG, and other > supplements that > caue yeast and an hour later give him activated > charcoal, will it only > sweep up the yeast or the supplements as well? > > Also, an hour after activated charcoal, I can give > biotin, probiotics > and supplements that do not cause yeast. Charcoal absorbs almost everything. I do know that it will absorb the supps. I don't know if it will absorb yeast. Usually, people give charcoal about 45 minutes after their anti-fungal, but be sure to give it 2 hours apart from other supps. I would only use charcoal if the die off symptoms were difficult to manage. My son never had die off symptoms with anti-fungals, he just improved, so I never had to use it. > Also, an hour after activated charcoal, I can give biotin, probiotics > and supplements that do not cause yeast. Correct? Wait for 2 hours after the charcoal. Personally, I would give the biotin along with the supps that tend to increase yeast. This, plus occasionally GSE when required, enabled me to control the yeast. Dana
