Hi Francine,

Welcome to the group. If you would be so kind and explain to us what you

mean by " what type of supplement would be good " . Are you referring to

vitamins, minerals, herbal supplementation or what? What do you wish to

use this supplementation for?

Anyway, if you can be a little more specific as to what you want then we

can assist you better. Do feel free to make yourself at home and peruse

the files and message archives. I do hope that you will enjoy your stay

with us and feel free to participate whenever you wish.

Peace be with you Francine.

Hi Francine and welcome to the group. Don's asleep right now (in Slovenia)... but let me ask what is your diet like? what you eat drink etc... Diet plays a big part... Have you ever done any fasting, juicing, cleanses? These things can improve your health... Also in the file under organic supplements is Complete Nutrition.... would be very good for you and your mom...

Also complete tonic.

Hi Don I am sorry for not being more specific but I do not know where to start! I am a 61yr old female who is on oxygen at all times I am also on medications for breathing Advair and Spiriva. I am a very active person still cut my own grass with a self propelled lawn mower and hang my oxygen tank from the handle I have some goats, chickens, ducks two dogs and I work with rescue. I take care of my 87yr old mother and our house also cook clean etc. Anyway I was taking Vit E-500mg Vit C-1000 and Bioflavonoid. Plus a product called Greens + with all kinds of goodies in it (smile) I guess what I want to know should I be taking anything on a daily basis that I am not. I am asking because I have a lot of problems with skin bruising and hair loss. Thank you so much.

Joanne,

It's great to hear from you and to know you are doing better!

Maybe you'd like to share information about Standard Process supplements. . . What you are taking, what they're for, and how you feel with them.

I wish we had one simple answer about getting better . . . It seems each of us have to find their own way by borrowing on what helps other women.

Groups like this make it ever so much easier than trying to figure it out by ourself!

Thanks for sharing your progress!

Hugs,

Rogene

suppliments

It's been a while since I posted. It is so hard for me as I have no internet access at home. I am so grateful that I have a job that I have been able to keep and work full time. I wanted to post about some interesting products. I went to a chiropractor who put me on about 7 different suppliments from a company called Standard Process. Amazing results! I have not been able to watercolor for 4 years (since explant) and after a week on the stuff I started painting like crazy. My focus is back. Of coarse she told me to take them 3 times a day and I nearly went crazy with detox symptoms but I lowered them to morning only and it seems to be tolerable. I still feel toxic and wake up at night with burning and a pounding sensation (like toxins are trying to come out) but only when I take too much and then I slow it down. I painted pictures for everyone for Christmas and feel very grateful for the good days.

Take care.Love, JoannePS. I have also been able to increase my exercise workouts.

I have also been using a few of the Standard Process supplements

w/great results. I take one for thyroid function, one for adrenal

function and one for sinus/allergies. I was taking other supplements

for these before and when I switched to the Standard Process I

noticed a marked difference in how well they worked. Now I will not

be without them. The only downside is that they are more expensive

than some other brands. But it is worth it to me to use somethng

that actually works. You can read up on them at their website.

www.standardprocess.com

Normally you have to get them from a chiro or doctor who carries

them. But I came across a website where you can order them, if you

can't find them in your area. The prices are about the same either

way.

This is great news Joanne! What are the specific supplements you are

on now?

I'll have to check out Standard Process and see what they are about.

I'm glad to hear you've found something that is making a difference

for you!

I was actually on Standard Process for a short while, unfortunately

too short to notice a difference. My chiro, who I really respect,

put me on them and several people I've talked to rave about them.

The only reason I went off them is because I ended up going to

Mercola for more comprehensive care than the chiro could provide.

The chiro knew a little about mercury toxicity but not enough to

supervise me.

I was on Cataplex G for central nervous system probs, Bacopa Complex

for cognitive function, Thymex for the thymus gland, Andrographis

Complex for immune function, Cataplex ACP for absorption of Vit A, C

and P, Neuroplex for the brain, and Prolamine Iodine for thyroid. - PH

Hi Patty. I take the Thytrophin (1 w/breakfast and lunch) for

thyroid function, Drenamin (2 w/breakfast and lunch) for adrenal

function and Allerplex (2 w/brkfst, lunch and dinner)for

sinus/allergy. I have really felt like the Thytrophin and Drenamin

have helped w/energy.

The Allerplex worked really well for me, too. I have had a chronic

fungal sinus infection and when I began taking the Allerplex I

noticed my sinuses began to drain and open up. Unfortunately I'm

kind of stuck now and haven't gotten totally better, but I'm hoping

that will change once my implants are out.

I think the Standard Process products are very good quality.

Hi Joanne,

I'm one of the newbies - just wanted to say thanks for sharing that

source. Good luck with your watercolors. I'm an artist as well, but

I work with fabric (I have used watercolor books as help, tho) Glad

to hear you are being helped by something!
