DMSA was very tough on the gut for him; never saw improvement; had many problems. From what I recall, DMPS was the only one we saw potential with, but early on in using it he developed a rash. The dr prescribing thought it may have been an allergic reaction, so we stopped using it. But from my reading recently, apparently this can be a side effect of chelation & maybe just a rest or adjusting the dose may have helped. Also, maybe it was just something he needed to go through; detox maybe? If this is thought to be possible, we're seriously considering giving it another try, but I wanted to ask first.
