Guest guest
TET/PIPH might really be TET/DIPH: tetnus and diphtheria. Could be a typo or bad handwriting. PLG could be plague: http://www.cdc.gov/vaccinesafety/vaxtech/visi/standard_vaccine_abbrev iations.pdf My ex was career military. Seems " plague " sounds vaguely familiar to me. I would bet that is what that is. I am not finding anything for GG. Good luck. Guest guest
My youngest joined the reserves and went through basic this spring. He had only a couple of childhood vaccines due to older sister's problems. A friend sent me info that Senate Bill #1873 allows experiemental vaccine use on anyone in the military. I haven't checked this out yet. My written demand that he be given a waiver was, of course, ignored. In addition to 2 big butt loads of vaccines, he even got penicillin to which he had a violent infant reaction. I don't think it is a 'typo' but probably a variant vaccine and anything else they wanted to toss in. How did you get the records? > > > > I got my dh's vaccine record from when he was in the Army. > > As I suspected, there are shots on there I have never heard of. > Some I > > was able to find. It's also possible I am right. Perhaps the original poster's husband can simply go to a military hospital and ask. Because of HIPPA and such, she might not be able to get any information whatsoever but he might. If they blow him off and refuse to give him information, then I would get rather suspicious. Guest guest
I was in the military many, many years ago. My joining was a point of contention between several family members and myself.....several were very opposed. Anyway, one of the arguments brought up within the family was the experimental vaccine issue...... It is true that there is experimentation. It's referred to as " military vaccine research " . I would not be surprised if some of these vaccine acronyms stand for anthrax and HIV.....HIV was a huge issue in the military during my day (1985). @...: mbrookh@...: Sun, 1 Jun 2008 21:23:50 +0000Subject: [ ] Re: Vaccine experts..military vaccines...anyone know what these are??? Guest guest
-I have read a lot to this fact, that they do experiment with vaccines on military personnel. Check this site: http://www.mvrd.org/ I keep finding PLG references on the web that indicate this was some sort of gene vaccine containing HIV dna. Which is scaring me if it is true. -- In , Hanagan <hanagan_8@...> wrote: > > > I was in the military many, many years ago. Guest guest
When he was in the service he was given a health record brochure and told not to lose it. He had to have it at all times and present it when going for medical. They logged all his shots into it with the date. If you lose this, you can be re-vaxed over again. So he made sure not to lose and he brought it home when he was discharged. Has had it every since. TET/DIPH makes a lot more sense that TET/PIPH...probably what it is. > > > > > > I got my dh's vaccine record from when he was in the Army. > > > As I suspected, there are shots on there I have never heard of. > > Some I > > > was able to find. Guest guest
First, I wonder why my dh used the less familiar Gobulia, rather than Gobulin? But he's now asleep and I'll have to ask him later. I googled the gamma gobulin and this is what I found on wikipedia. Gamma globulin injections are usually given in an attempt to temporarily boost a patient's immunity against disease. Injections are most commonly used on patients who have been exposed to hepatitis A or measles, or to make a donor and a kidney recipient compatible regardless of blood type of tissue match. Injections are also used to boost immunity in patients who cannot produce gamma globulins naturally because of an immune deficiency, such as X-linked agammaglobulinemia and hyper IgM syndrome. Such injections are less common in modern medical practice than they were previously, and injections of gamma globulin previously recommended for travelers have largely been replaced by the use of hepatitis A vaccine. I also know a friend of a friend who now takes GG shots every month, because all of the other treatments for asthma/allergies has destroyed her own immune system. My dh said these are large shots, which are given in the buttocks. Your son should remember getting this one....... From: paxlforme@...
