Guest guest
I would ask Dana as she seems to be real good at these issues. Maybe you will want to try a more natural way first and see if it works? I have no experience with it but have read quite alot of Danas websight and story. There are quite a few other parents on here capable of helping also [ ] Got all labs back I had no idea so much was going on inside my son! Yeast, bacteria, and the doc says his brain is inflamed (probably viral). REALLY low on Vit C. She wants him on Bactrim first, then a yeast protocol of Diflucan and Nystantin and Prednisone. Anybody else use a protocol like this? Can you tell me the good and the bad? I would like to know what to expect. My mom (who happens to be a biomedical statistician. ...and as skeptical as they come) says the prednisone will make him really hyper. If my kid gets any more hyper I'm going to cry! We just got to a place in our enxyme use that he's begun to calm down. I just would like to get his gut under control so I can chelate him soon. ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Looking for last minute shopping deals? Prednisone made my kid wanting to kill people. I wouldn't use it unless it was an emergency. If you had a long time getting him adjusted to enzymes, I would take it slow with the antifungals, ie not diflucan and nystatin etc all at once. > I just would like to get his gut under control so I > can chelate him soon. Keep in mind that you're not going to be able to get it all the way under control because it's the metals that are messing it up. So aim for not ridiculously bad, and then if it gets a lot worse while chelating, take short breaks. Nell

My son must have been horrifically low in vitamin C and lysine. he was a high virus child, and required massive doses of vitamin C and lysine for many months [still on the high lysine, now doing only maintenance of vitamin C]. >> She wants him on Bactrim first, then a yeast protocol of Diflucan > and Nystantin and Prednisone. For yeast and bacteria, I would try biotin and oil of oregano. Dana
