Guest guest
Tot terror Anxiety disorders are surprisingly common among children - more prevalent than attention-deficit disorder - yet help is in short supply. Globe and Mail From the time he was a toddler, Cory seemed unusually shy - clamming up around strangers and enduring painful medical examinations with barely a whimper. Now he expresses his terror in other ways. Every morning, he begs not to go to daycare. He insists on wearing plain clothes so he blends into crowds, and often wets his pants at daycare rather than ask permission to go to the toilet. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/servlet/story/RTGAM.20080311.wlanxiety11 /BNStory/lifeFamily/home
Guest guest
Jackie, For my kids, this meant that there were one of two things or both at the same time often going on....high phenols or yeast. Either and esp both together caused major night terrors. Both of my youngest, who are adopted FAS kiddos had this problem. When we started no-fenol and started getting the yeast down....they became much less problematic. I am sure that mercury exacerbates the issue or is even the core, causing the yeast and the phenol issues, but we aren't done chelating and the terrors aren't terrors anymore. hth Ronni <ucanmailjackie@...> wrote: > > Tot terror Anxiety disorders are surprisingly common among children - > more prevalent than attention-deficit disorder - yet help is in short > supply. > Globe and Mail > From the time he was a toddler, Cory seemed unusually shy - clamming > up around strangers and enduring painful medical examinations with > barely a whimper.
