There is a discussion goingon about this very

treatment on CSN (AANP's clinical support network).

the basic consensus is is that it is a scamp.

anecdotally, people have run the circuit with not feet

in the water, and 'colors' and 'crud' are still

produced. I have also had a bit of personal

experience with it, and also believe that the claims

made are unsubstantiated- it doesn't make sense that

heavy metal burden could be reduced through this

avenue. perhaps increasing the skin as an emuctory, but

not to such a large degree. I think the residue is

jsut do to precipitation of salts from the circuit

and/ or superficial reactions with epithelial tissue.

Needless to say, it does look impressive!

if you really want to know definately, send samples

into the lab: with different water (distilled, tap

etc. as well as with feet in it and without) and see

the results.

Hi

I tried it once. I visited an ND while I was in Calgary and ended up

having a treatment. The water turned all kinds of lovely colours, and

my chronic back pain disappeared about 15 minutes into the bath, and

stayed away for about 3 days. The explanation of how it works (pulling

toxins out through my feet, made no sense to me, and, I was pretty sure

the change in water colour was due to the poor quality of the Calgary

tap water that was used, but there clearly was some type of effect. The

ND told me it was a big money maker for her, despite the $10,000 cost

for the equipment. (PS The back pain disappeared " permanently " after

several months of drainage.)

has anyone heard of or experienced Bionic Hydrotherapy? its an ionic

foot bath and pulls toxins out of the body thru the feet. one of my

Hi and yes, I have used the footbath as have several of my patients. And

yes, the water gets very funky. In my case, the water also was full of

sediment that ,by the end of the treatment, irritated the skin around my

ankles(toxic material i guess). My patients all had fine experiences, I had

a detox nightmare from hell and was ill for 2 weeks. As i learned later, my

detox pathways were energetically reversed so I was unable to clear the

toxic material. The condition is called spleen plug. Ah, we learn new

things every day. At any rate, I think I am interested in the machine

because anything that can help in the process of helping the body to

eliminate toxic material could be good, but, I am uncertain as to how this

thing really works and the printed material really doesn't say much.So

that's all I know right now. Hope this helps. White, Connecticut

In my experience, if you do not add the salt to the bath water, at the end

of the bath the water looks the same as before you start. The foot baths

feel great. Ever put your feet in a Dr. Scholl's vibrating foot bath? It's

great! So if you don't add the salt, there is no reaction with the plates to

change the water.

Hi Loreen and others

Even if was a scam (crystal formation without feet being in the water)

how would it make chronic back pain disappear?or other pain? placebo

effect? would the back pain have gone away in the device without the

salt?

loreen did your back pain go away this after mths of foot baths? or

other drainage?

Hi

I doubt the affect was placebo because I was very skeptical it would do

anything, and certainly had no idea it would make my back pain go away.

I only tried it one time, for about 30 minutes. A patient had told me

about it, and I wanted to discuss it with the ND I visited. I was only

able to try it because she had had a cancellation. The back pain went

away for about 3 days. Then it came back.

It went away again after several months of drainage. I continue to

experiment with drainage on myself, so am not sure if it would come back

if I stopped drainage for awhile.

The explanation of the foot bath detoxing fits with the drainage also

working. No amount of physio, chiropractic, or massage ever eliminated

the pain for more than a few hours. Qi gong did work when I was doing

it daily.
