Not Andy, but yes. My son is 98% recovered and I expect him to cross the finish

line any day

now. He got several blasts of thimerosal in utero from RhoGam.

Alice,

Not Andy, but I'll jump in here. I think that the earlier the exposure, the

more devastating it can be to the child. Then again, that depends on dosage

etc. as well. My son's exposure was at 2 months, 3 months, 4months, and 6

months. and it probably would have been much less severe had it been after 6

months.

However, getting the mercury out is always important, no matter what way the

child is exposed.

We didn't start getting it out until he was 20! So there's another dilemma!

[ ] Andy-flu shot when pregnant

Andy,

I got a flu shot when I was pregnant. At the time I had a gut feeling

not to do it, but did not know why then.

My 5 year old son has autism, though he was a 'normal baby'. We chelate

and use many supplements for several years now along with ABA. He has

made tremendous progress, sits in a typical pre-school with a shadow

but we still have behavioral and expressive language problems and maybe

we will have academic issues in the future -though so far, so good

My question is, when a child's initial exposure to mercury was invitro

can they still 'recover' (whatever that means)as opposed to a child

whose first exposure was through a vaccine?
