Guest guest
> > I chelated my son a few years ago for a period of over one year using DMSA and ALA ...I worked with a DAN doctor... he unloaded lots of lead, but not so much mercury. I had to stop because his zinc levels became very low. I want to start up again and I'm trying to get a RBC test done to see his current zinz level. My question is: does ALA also bind to zinc along with mercury or is it just the DMSA The problem is not that chelators remove zinc (they do not do this to any extent). One factor is that mercury toxic people need a lot of zinc. Starting dose for children is weight + 20 mg in divided doses through the day. Another factor is that nutrients are used up faster during chelation because the body is healing. Be sure to give enough zinc both on and off chelation. that binds to zinc along with lead? I'd like to begin chelating with the ALA alone ASAP because I won't have the zinc levels back from the RBC for a month. I plan to use Andy's protocol... my son is 10 years and 70 pounds. I plan to use 25mg every 3 hours during the day and every 4 hour during the night starting Friday afternoon through Monday morning then take 3 days off and start again the next Friday...does this sound right? This is basically right. I would suggest starting with 12.5 mg. Have you done a hair test? Do be sure you have read through Moria's website (see files section) so you understand what you are doing. -- > Thanks for your help...
