Guest guest
Hi, My son had absence seizures, hundreds per day. I tried: - taurine - fatty acids - diets - antioxidants - l_theanine - parasites treatments - antivirals I saw a slight decrease of his number of seizures with vit E. The rest did not help. After one year of trying supplements, I gave up and put him on meds. I still give him vit E though... Here are some links that I kept: http://www.worldwidehealthcenter.net/articles-115.html http://dogtorj.tripod.com/id2.html > > My son just started having seizures, I believe brought on by puberty. > He had his first seizure when he was 10. Guest guest
Have you eliminated all foods containing MSG from his diet. This preservative has been associated with seizures. It's a neurotoxin. Same with artificial sweeteners. > > My son just started having seizures, I believe brought on by puberty. > He had his first seizure when he was 10. Guest guest
Several months ago, I read a post by someone about the link between seizures and fat digestion. I didn't save the information at the time because I wasn't relevant in our home, but now for the life of me I can't find it! Does this notion ring a bell for anyone? If so, can you help? Maybe I read it on another list, but if someone can help out, I would also like to find the post again to help a friend. Sorry I can't help more. Guest guest
If you do a google search of those two words quite a lot of info pops up that you might be interested in.
