If yes, then you can safely wait. I used to bleed and it turned out to be my cervix. Was ‘eroded’ and when ever it was bumped even slightly, it would bleed and sometimes profusely. I had it cauterized many, many years ago and have not had any problems unless pg, then it bleeds just a bit, but nothing serious. Just hard to tell if the where the bleeding is coming from which is a real PITA when pg. Guest guest
I am sorry to be a bit graphic here. There are times when it happens with us, when I hit her uterus. This may have happened with you. Was it a lot of blood, or just spotting? Is there any pain involved? I know this is a difficult subject to discuss on a list like this, but we are family here, and care about each other. Sometimes we have to be a little vulnerable with each other. I am sure some more wise than I will pipe up. I hope all turns out well!!! Guest guest
I do not wish to alarm you, because many times bleeding after sex can be completely benign. However if you continue to have this problem, I would get it checked out. I had occasional bleeding after intercourse for about a year and a half (about once a month give or take), before I finally went and got it checked out. It turned out that I had severe precancerous changes of my cervix ( what they call carcinoma in situ). The bleeding was the only sign I had. It is easily treatable when caught early. I had a large portion of my cervix removed and then went in for 3 month check ups. This was before I knew much about natural remedies, so had I known what I know now I may have taken a different route. Only the individual can decide this though. Actually, this was a large part of the reason I began to look for alternatives. After numerous invasive tests the following two years I said enough. I had decided the stress, both physically and emotionally, of all the tests and procedures was doing more harm to my body than the risks of not having them done. So, I decided instead to just get as healthy as I possibly can, and I am still working on it. My doctor did not like my decision, however, and still sends me a certified letter on occasion about how I need to go in and get something done, mostly to cover his own butt I'm sure. Anyway, it seems I have strayed a bit:-). Take care Love, Roni
