They are listed in Andy's " Amalgam Illness " book and in Teitelbaum's " From Fatigued to Fantastic " Fatigue, aches and pains, low blood pressure and dizziness on standing, frequent infections and difficulty shaking infections, hypoglycemia. When the adrenals get to the failure stage the fatigue is so bad you feel like you are about to die, there can be nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, serious weight loss. What to do depends on how serious the problem is. There are diet, lifestyle modifications, OTC supplements, and for the more serious Rx cortisol. Guest guest
---Is there a test for phenol intolerance? (other than cutting out all the foods!) I wonder if my 14 year old daughter could have problems although she doesn't get red ears. You can remove foods, give epsom salt baths, or try No-Fenol enzyme, see if any of those help http://www.danasview.net/phenol.htm Dana
Guest guest
Hi is, I find the following things help as adrenal support: sea salt lysine yam (either eaten as a food or buy a supplement version) " Plus " , a product from Mannatech which contains lysine, yam and a few other things. This is the best adrenal support product I have tried but I can't always afford it. I also have been told that when the adrenals are chronically stressed, it begins stressing the thyroid. I take coconut oil for many reasons and have read that it is good thyroid support. When I feel I need extra adrenal support, I typically also make sure to take some coconut oil. I have been told that sweet potatoes do not do the same thing yams do but I find them helpful. They aren't as helpful as yams but are more readily available. So I have, for example, ordered them with my meal at a restaurant when focusing on trying to get supportive/healing foods into me. HTH and good luck. > > Hello > > Ive heard of the adrenal glands. i have problems getting to sleep and > have just go a new mattress recently (its not the cause). i take > 2x5htp tablets at night but then i have problems waking up in the > morning. > > What are the signs of adrenal failure (cannot afford a DAN! doctor)? > How can i treat it? > > is (who has black rings around her eyes as well) > -- Michele talithamichele@... http://www.atraceofme.com Railing on http://www.solanorail.com
