We had to take a break from chelation because my 25/month old sons

zinc levels were really low. Not because of chelating.. they were low

from a test before we started but didn't get results till later.

Anyways I just wanted to post after starting again.. my son has made

some great gains. He has been copying a few words ( approx 10 to 15 )

but has never used spontanious words for wants or needs ( or anything

else with a purpose ) He is now asking for " bobba " out of the blue

and seems so excited when I respond and get him one ( so much for

getting off the bobba ) His eyes just light up and he giggles with

excitement. It seems like he is really starting to understand. He saw

a plate of dinner I was eating last night and did his " I want " sign

and pointed to my plate. with no prompting. He also today used his "

help " sign after his car went under the tv stand. I have been praying

that, if nothing else, my son will be somewhat verbal. Although

health is #1. Its so hard to tell if they will be verbal or not at

this age. I am so excited how chelating on Andy's protocol helps my

son and I hope it continues. Its so nice to have a few days to feel

optomistic, when many are so hard to even lift your chin.

Congrats ! I am excited and optimistic for your son. I have a little one

too and know where you are. We are very excited for some appropriate signs too.
