Guest guest
I have been out of my old apartment for 2 months now but it seems I am not getting better, maybe worse. I have asthma that isn't improving, chronic sinus/ear infections, headaches, and nausea. My apartment was tested... positive for Stachybotrys (level 4+), Penicillium, aspergillus and cladosporium. My docs think that all of my problems are caused by smoking. I have to disagree (even if no one believes me). I have been a smoker for 19 years.. I did not develop asthma until I moved into that apt., it started with allergies and progressivly got worse. (By the way, I have been smoke free for over a month now I feel that because I was a smoker that my health problems aren't being heard. I am sure the headaches are caused by my life being turned upside down. My furniture and most of my belongings are still sitting in the old apartment. I am waiting for a response from the insurance company. I lost my job (layoff),and my attorney wants $500.00 dollars up front..(and he is on contigency?). I'm tired, broke, depressed, my body aches, and I need to get a new job. Wishing I'd never heard of Stachybotrys ! How long will this last? I thought I was supposed to get better after I left the environment???? Help ! KChrisPcat@...
