I'm such a nag. LOL Okay, Hypericum perforatum or St. 's/Joan's

Wort. This herb does indeed help some folks with mild to moderate

depression. It also doesn't do squat for others. Everyone is different

and what can I say. It may or it may not work in your case. However,

that is no reason not to try it. Just be forewarned that it does take

time to notice any beneficial effects. It is said that you need to take

it for a minimum of a month before you will notice anything. Here is a

little formula you can try that may help with the depression and then

again may not. Like I said everyone is different.

Make a tincture of 2 parts St. 's Wort; 1 part Avena sativa (oats,

either seeds or straw), 1 part Artemisia vulgaris (Mugwort). Dosage

would be 5 ml 3 times per day. Just remember that you will need to take

this at least a month. You might even try it as a tea but I think you

will prefer the tincture better. Mugwort is not all that wonderful tasting.

Peace be with you both Anne and you will benefit from fasting.

You may not realize it but you will definitly benefit.

Hi Anne,

My dh has mild depression, has been like that since We've been

together (12 yrs.) I finally put him on SJW about 2 or so months ago

and it has made a big change in him. We had to work with the dose to

get it right. He also takes B-complex 75 mg. each day, it is also

good for depression along with the SJW.

Hope this helps
