Not only that but vermox (liquid) can stain their teeth and for my kid, made it

worst. Black Walnut Hulls and wormwood work well. Also, remember to change

their underpants/pajama bottoms daily and wash them in hot water.

Berberine herbs (oregon grape, goldenseal, barberry) are

broad-spectrum for all kinds of parasites, and yeast and bacteria.

OLE helps with some types of parasites (I think, look it up to be

sure).

Are they on sulfur elimination? Garlic/allicin is antiparasitic,

but is definitely sulfury.

Googling natural treatments for parasites made me crazy b/c they all

contain black walnut oil. LOL I quit after a bit and came to the

real experts.

Yes, the kids cycle around the full moon. In fact, Tuesday (our

last full moon) my middle child told me, at bedtime, that her butt

itched. She has continued to say this off and on since. Solved the

mystery of the last few days insanity...

They are allergic to black walnut.

What is wormwood made from? Another nut?

Cool. I will look those up!

They tolerate sulfur well. What's a good garlic supplement? The ones

I have seen at the HFS are full of junk.

Most (if not all) of the natural parasite killers contain black walnut

hulls (eg: paranil, paragone, etc). So all the easy-to-find ones in

the stores are out if you have a nut allergy.

I don't think so. I think it's an herb.

If Vermox is an option you want to use, can't your MD indicate a

lactose allergy which makes the generic inappropriate (he does agree

they have this allergy, yes?)? I think your doc needs to follow up

with the insurance company, or you need to tell the insurance company

you will bill them for the ER visits and subsequesnt treatment for

anaphylaxis. Also, what is the cost of Vermox? Can you just pay out

of pocket? Oh, just checked. Looks like 2 pills run about $90???

We used Vermox chewable tablets successfully for pinworms a few years

ago. I know not everyone wants to use a pharmaceutical, but I would

use it again. We only used two pills for each person in our family.

My doc did call the insurance co and discuss this with them. When

they called the pharmacy, they were told the FDA just pulled Vermox

for unknown reasons. I have no objections to taking it at all!!

When it comes to worms, I'm not above taking an RX. LOL

I think for now I will try the product mentioned and look

into the other herbs that were mentioned. It's good to know there

are other options besides the nut-based cleansers!

Thank you ALL for your input. I am still grossed out over the whole

thing but at least we have a plan now and with thorough laundering

and supplementing, I hope we will put an end to this nastiness!! :)

Try to get the doctor to write them, if he won't, ask a compounding pharmacy

what they

can do and what coverage they get.

It may cost you money to get your kids better. It is well worth it.

This chlorophyll sales pitch truly is drivel.

We do seem to be having a lot of this kind of truly off the wall, delusional

stuff recently.

I know, I know, I'm supposed to trash out on the doctors who aren't here and be

totally

warm, loving and accepting of everyone here no matter what, but please think

about the

fact that someone might go do whatever-it-is to their real live kid, waste a lot

of time and

effort, get no positive result, and maybe even hurt them before posting. in

light of that,

please put some effort into knowing what you are talking about before making

suggestions.

Personal experience is one thing (even when it includes a lot of interpretation

I find quite

incredible), but beyond that let us try to keep the list standards up.

This may just be suggestion and help to you and all. If you find my suggestion

not be pleasing to you it is okey. Please be kind in your replies.

Sir, I am not selling you one anyway. I shared it to many, as well us to my kids

and my 10 year old son with Autism. This is not the only supplement he takes

.... that helps him detoxify and cleanse. He also take zinc, anti oxidants,

selenium, B12, Omega 3, 9 & 6, Magnesium, Calcium, Folic Acid etc. My kids is

doin great.

I joined this group.. coz I get some good info for my son with autism..

All I know it is, we had a great experience of these supplements. amazing

results.

Sir fyi, the source, production and manufacturing plant of these supplements

exist for almost 35 years, in US.

thank you.

I don't know about it's use for parasites but I have found a good use for

Chlorophyl.

Every once in a while my son has eaten something off the diet and.... he gets

what can only be termed as 'Monster breath'. It is so bad that teachers

complain about it. NOTHING WORKS.... but...

I have found that cheap chewable chlorophyl does work at eliminating that 'ugly,

upset tummy' MONSTER BREATH.... the breath that will lay you flat if you get in

its way.... yuck. It is completely gross.

If it happens to your precious bundle of joy.... keep chlorophyl in mind....

will help your child maintain his friendships!

I think someone said that black walnuts is an herb, yes but its a nut,

a unripen black walnut, that before it ripens is naturally processed

to make the herbal supplement. Unsure if you were allergic to nuts

how that would work. I saw someone make this once from his tree years

ago, pretty sure this is correct but I am no expert.
