I know what you mean....with Kali, it has always been a upper respiratory

infection or pneumonia. We've been lucky in the ear dept......unlucky in the

resp track & lungs .

Hope it's a short lived attack.

Yes, *all* the time. Actually, it usually happens with both my DS and NDA

child. I don't really know why. le was like this when she was an

infant but my son is *still* like this and he is 18 months. He has an ENT

appt. on Wednesday and the placement of tubes is very, very likely.

Augumenten is one of the drugs that I won't let them perscribe for based

on the fact that it didn't seem to do the job, but did give her a nasty case

of the big D every time she took it. :-o

Yes, you just described . Last winter was a breeze, but this winter

he has had one infection after another. He had just finished a course of

Augmenten two weeks ago, and last Sunday came in in the middle of the night

with a fever and gunky eyes...back on Augmenten. It has been frustrating,

he has missed a lot of school this year.

Hi Lori,

Just catching up on my email. Ted is 9 and has his 4th or 5th set

of ear tube, isn't that terrible that I have lost count? He has had 2

colds

this winter and the 1st one turned into ear infection which I was able to

treat with just the drops. He had the flu from monday the 12th until

saturday evening the 17th! This time he didn't have any leakage out

of his ears. But even with my 2 older boys, well, I would forget to

treat

the cold and most times it became bacteria that settled in the ears!

At my house, ear infections were usually caused by yeast overgrowth.

I used biotin and GSE to eliminate them.

If the ear infection is bacterial, yes you can use OLE. I have used

OLE for several bacterial issues here, as well as viruses.

You've already posted about whether this child is dairy-free. If not, consider

trying it.
