Beverly,

Glad you're doing good but sorry to hear about your mom = guess it's too late for her to start eating raw huh? juicing? I would suggest Essiac, I've seen it cure many things, also seen it give quality time to people who's cancer is too far advanced (major organs)... it gave them a longer time left and free of much of the pain.

Hi Everyone.Beverly back to say hello! hope you are all having a wonderful week!im doing pretty good here....back in the land of the eating....but not liking the animal products like i used to......much preferring those green things...i think you call them vegetables! My mom...has CLL. Chronic Lymphositic Leukemia. *im not sure i spelled the 2nd word right*. She is slowly getting worse. While her blood numbers have been low......3000 -11000 are "not to worry" range.....she is now at 27,000This is specifically Leukemia of the Lymph white blood cells. She's waitin' to die....and waitin til it gets bad so they will finally pump her full of chemo.......so she will die. *HUGE SIGH*Is there anything i might suggest that might help her stay off the progression of the disease? Any book i could send her for the

holiday? ANY thing i can suggest???? that might be gentle and somewhat easy....and not too weird.she will only handle "normal" things like chemo poisons. ;)she will be 70 on Jan 2. Ive never gotten along great with my mom....but i am really working to change that and neutralize it so we enjoy our communication and that she knows i love her.Thanks.much love to allbeverly

Hi Bev,

Glad your doing alright. I trust that you are doing better than you were

before. I also hope that you plan on continuing cleansing on a regular

basis. Will only do you a world of good.

Sorry to hear about your mom. Right off the top of my head I would have

to say Essiac and juicing. Lots of juicing. There are a lot of cancer

diets out there that are just awesome in what they can accomplish.

However, they are pretty....ah shall we say.... restricted, structured

and very intense (for lack of better terms). I don't believe that there

really is anything that will keep the disease from progressing with the

exception of Essiac, juicing, a specific cancer diet, prayer,

forgiveness, compassion and truly loving her. When a person's body

reaches this stage it is really time for the big guns and no holds

barred approach.

But then again, it is up to her to make her decision concerning her

health and life. No matter what do not hold that against her. She may

feel that she has lived all she wants to live. No matter what, Beverly,

you and she will be in my prayers and thoughts.

Peace be with you and your mother Bev.

Hi Beverly,

A woman I know has the same thing. She is doing

pretty well -- she has " gone healthy " (as she calls

it) and the white cell counts have been doing a lot

better, she looks a lot better...

She did quit her job at the hospital (oddly, 2 other

nurses in the same area also have CLL). And she has

stopped eating meats, dairy -- not quite raw, but very

close and does a lot of juicing and all. She mostly

does what Don recommends (except for the

not-quite-totally raw part).

And it has made one heck of a difference. Even at

the beginning when she was just starting to eat

healthier she felt so much better, avoiding the

hormone-fed meats and the conventionally grown

produce.

I don't know of any books or the like specifically,

but if I do see her at church tomorrow I can ask.

Hello,

Anyone dealing with CLL (Chronic Lymphositic Leukemia? I would like to know

who is using alternative methods for that and what you are doing. I would like

to know where your WBC was when you were diagnosed and where you are now, etc.

It would be nice to communicate with others who have the same.

I had CLL for about three years when I was diagnosed stage IV January, '04. My

bone marrow in December did not show any signs of cancer cells. I had four

rounds of chemo starting in Feb and going through May. Went back in June for

bone marrow and found that my CLL bone marrow cells had gone from 85% to 40. At

that point they gave me two more rounds of chemo and six applications of Rituxan

and I started reading all I could find and the best one was the book " The

Cure for all Cancer. " I stopped drinking all soft drinks, next to no sugar of

any kind. Started on Noni Juice and Barley Green along with Vitamins C, E, B6,

B12, COQ10,Magnesium, Flaxseed Oil, Omega 3, Folic Acid, Beta Carotene. I

stopped eating red meat and anything deep fried. I eat mostly poultry and fish.

I eat old fashion Oatmeal for breakfast and stay away from white foods like

white rice and bread. I eat lots if fresh raw foods like green salads and stay

away from junk foods. I eat almonds and figs for a snack. On my monthly visit to

my Oncologist, who does not believe in nutritional healing, he said I don't know

what you are doing but keep it up and you don't need to come every month anymore

but make it every two months.

I feel that it was not the drugs but the change in lifestyle that made the

difference in my recovery. My WBC was 94,000 when I was diagnosed and it has

been running 4,200 for the past few months.

Yes, that's true, but I meant asking just from natural curiousity. Just to

know, for themselves.

I didn't delude myself to think they would actually do it.

BTW I heard a new excuse lately from mainsteam doctors: that vitamins don't

work because it's isolating one ingredient and it's not natural synergy.

Someone " forgot " this is a good definition for drugs... I also heard that

vitamins don't work because they are " synthetic " ,

but no word about the synthetic drugs. The absurd is getting higher every

time.

Only health...
