Re: Magnesium / Zinc sulfate cream

I'm starting my dd on the zinc cream tonight. I'll be interested to see

how she does on it. I also ordered the magnesium cream. I am just going

to use this on days she won't stay in her epsom salt bath very long.

I would recommend the Zinc Magneisum creme from Kirkman's'; taking Zinc

on an empty tummy can caus severe nausea;

evne Zinc with food can cause Nausea; have you ever taken Zinc?

I have; and i had the worst stomach ache; like a dull pain;

I woulnd't give oral zinc ot Liquid Zinc at all; I'd use the creme.

for those who disagree; go to store; buy Zinc; take Zinc at normal dose

and then get back to me with your opinion. Zinc also causes throwing up.

ZINC IS USED IN EXTRMELY MINUTE AMOUNTS such as in crmeme; for those

who do not believe; buy some zinc an take it yourself;

in fact I recommend the adults TEST EVERY SUPPLEMNET BEFORE GIVING.---

Anne;

What is the transdermal uptake of Zn? Please substantiate with some

citations.

I have taken different doses of different forms of zinc after a fast and

post postprandial and never experienced nausea.

It is not reasonable to generalize your experience to others, especially

in your case.

I strongly agree that it is appropriate for parents to trial supplements

before giving them to their children.

My 40lb son handles 60 mgs in divided doses daily comfortably. It

is quite clear when he doesn't have enough as that makes him

drool/chew on his shirt, etc. Zinc deficiency is a big issue for

lots of our kids.

I have taken up to 50 mgs per meal per day without too much

problem. I weigh about 140 lbs. As for my son, zinc is good for me

(high copper person), though I don't chew on my shirt when I am

low. And I try not to drool too much :-)

What type do you take? maybe dif. brands are better/ is what you tale

a pill or a talbet or a lonzenge; is this Zinc Gluconate?; anna.---
