Guest guest
You have pretty well expended the herbs. with the alcohol.. As Don posted sometime earlier.. there is some left but not much.. So I give it back to the earth as for whatever is left will be good in the soil. Guest guest
I use everclear... and once I took the leftovers and tried a cup of tea... there wasn't much there... and my garden seems to do better since I started using the leftovers with the soil. My herbs look and grow better than they had prior to me starting to do this. Everything I've read always talks about putting them in your compost... so I decided to try it and it works for me. Isn't that something like 2nd guessing nature-knows-best? It seems inconsistent with the idea of eating whole raw foods?

However, most folks who eat only whole raw foods have no use for a tincture as they are never ill and very seldom, if ever, have any physical problems to worry about. So for those who are less than raw and suffer from physical ailments a tincture works really well and really quickly to help bring the body back into a more balanced condition. This is what herbs are for. Granted it is best to use just the herb as nature intended. It was man's idea to make tinctures as they do go to work much more quickly. Some herbs work better as tinctures, some as teas some just plain taken whole. All depends on the condition and whether it is an emergency type situation. -- Peace, love and light, Don " Quai " Eitner " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man.
