Extra virgin olive oil (evoo) is good for scars. My aunt was in a car

accident and her face was badly scarred from flying windshield glass.

Someone told her to put EVOO on them everyday and she ended up with

fine white lines that one had to be very close to see.

She told me about that when I was a kid, and so I started using evoo

on my face in my early 20s since I had a lot of sunburns and my family

wrinkles early. It has worked beyond compare.

Hi Jovie,

I have heard that Rose Hip oil is very good for scarring as is Benzoin

resinoid.There are a few other essential oils that are good for scarring

as well. Lavandin is one used for scarring. Also, nothing vanishes a

scar, but as your son is so young he may have very little scarring as he

gets older. Using Rose Hip oil or some of the others will help. Yes I

too have heard about EVOO and scarring though I have never used it.
